Jeanne Vanderhoff is an Appellate Law specialist certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. She practices in the areas of civil and criminal appeals, business litigation and bankruptcy law. Jeanne has argued before the California Supreme Court en banc. She is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, the California Supreme Court, and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Central and Northern Districts of California.
Jeanne received her B.A. in 1983 from the University of California at Santa Cruz. In 1988, she received her J.D., cum laude, from the McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific. She was an editor for the Pacific Law Journal and member of the Traynor Honor Society.
Before joining the Vanderhoff Law Group, Jeanne worked as a solo practitioner, specializing in appellate law. Prior to that time, she was a full-time faculty member at the University of San Diego School of Law, where she taught appellate advocacy and legal research & writing. Jeanne also spent several years as an associate with the Gray, Cary, Ware & Friedenrich (currently DLA Piper), where she practiced in the areas of civil litigation and labor& employment law.
In addition to practicing law, Jeanne plays an active role in her community. She has served as a Girl Scout leader for the past eight years. She is also a volunteer and member of the board of directors for a local mother/daughter philanthropic organization.
